Honduras is located in the middle of Central America, contiguous to Nicaragua by southeast, adjacent to Guatemala by northwest, El Salvador by southwest and Pacific Ocean by south, Caribbean Sea by north.

Agriculture is the major industry of Honduras and produce banana, sugar, coffee, cotton, cocoa, rice, tobacco leaf, potato, orange, pineapple, muskmelon, watermelon, Hami melon, grapefruit, asparagus, coconut, sweet corn, kudzu powder, bean, tomato, etc. in which coffee, banana, Hami melon, grapefruit, pineapple and vegetable are very competitiveness.  Presently, Taiwan technique team helps Honduras people to develop fish farm and cultivate Oreochromis that result in 40 million export figures every year.  Ready-made clothes industry is the biggest industry which has 200 manufactories in Honduras.  In the pass 5 years, tourism industry had huge progress and become the third source of foreign exchange income.
